It was in December 1991 ...
After gaining experience in the maritime and road transport sectors, Jean Pierre Devigne decided to set up his own transport company. A few important dates have marked the development of RDV Transports
- 1991
Investment in light commercial vehicles under 3.5 t to distribute newspapers and parcels along the coast, with new recruits along the way.
- 1999
Purchase of the first 5 tractor units and recruitment of 5 drivers.
- 2001
Purchase of 6,600 m² in the Marcel Doret zone and construction of two buildings and a car park. Significant growth in business volume and recruitment. Substantial increase of the fleet of tractors and semi-trailers over a period of 10 years.
- 2013
Setting up a subsidiary abroad.
- 2018
Purchase of land in the Transmarck zone.
- 2019
Construction of buildings and secure parks on 40,000 m² in the Transmarck zone and relocation of the company to the ZAC des Pins in Transmarck.
